Much has been said about that fateful moment when Kingdom Under Fire was suggested by a certain rice300 member as a game to play. This person was Graham Tse. And because of that decision he has been tainted forever by what some people have said to "be the worse game ever". It has been suggested in some circles that it should be put on his permanent record.

However like most historical events the truth of what actually happened is clouded by time and deep resentment. Resentment for Graham for inflicted such pain to people. Graham's inability (some say stubbornness) to admit the wrongs of that decision has also coloured the perception of people's memories.

As I'm a truth seeker I will now reveal the truth of what actually happened in that glorious time of 2007. Glorious in that it was the year of Crackdown, Assassin's Creed, Halo3 and COD : Modern Warfare.. and KUF.

This is what is the perceived truth of KUF.

1. It was Graham's dumb fault that we got KUF.

2. KUF was the worse game in the world

Obviously we cannot prove point 2 as a metacritic score in the 60's isn't really an indication of an ass game.

But let's explore point 1 with the email evidence

guys a new ARPG game called "Kingdom under Fire: Circle of Doom" has come out... its a 4 player Co-Op game and has been getting pretty good reviews in the HK mags.... would you guys be interested? its a bit like WoW where you fight monsters together but not a MMORPG.... saw it at MK yesterday... selling for ard HK$350....and selling quite fast the dude says

So with this revelation does this change your perception of the history of KUF? Yes Graham was definitely involved in the initial suggestions to play KUF. But did the comments of the mystery person help cement the final purchase of KUF and therefore stain Graham's reputation on gaming? Should this mystery person take some of the blame?

Man, its like a dream that when I saw him on KCR together last week. I really want to jump right into him and ask him for a signature or a photo together but i was too chicken.

Tats Lau Yee-Tat (simplified Chinese: 刘以达; traditional Chinese: �以�; Mandarin Pinyin: Liú Yǐdá; Jyutping: Lau4 Ji5 Daat6; born 23 February 1963) is a songwriter, musician and comedy actor in Hong Kong.

For the younger generation, Tats Lau would be more famous for his performance in many comedy films by Stephen Chow such as God of Cookery, Forbidden City Cop and many other Hong Kong comedy films.
